A cornerstone Silver Age key, Showcase #34 features the first appearance and origin of The Atom (Ray Palmer) —one of DC’s most enduring Silver Age heroes. As part of DC’s iconic Showcase series, this issue marks the debut of the modern Atom and helped launch the character into his own title shortly thereafter.

This copy is in G/ VG (Good/Very Good) condition .  Overall the book shows moderate wear consistent with age, including cover wear and spine stress, but remains complete, structurally sound, and highly presentable for a book of this vintage.  There is a 1" split at the bottom of the spine and a triangular (water?) stain on the spine.  The grade provided is an estimate, so please review the photos to access condition.  We will be happy to send more photos on request.

First appearance keys from the early 1960s continue to see strong collector demand, and Showcase #34 remains one of the more accessible DC Silver Age debut issues—making it an excellent entry point for key collectors or a solid addition to any vintage DC lineup.
